Candidates must submit prescribed application form complete in all respect along with the following documents:

certificate in support of date of birth, passing high school certificate.
certificate in support of qualifying examination.
marks sheet of the qualifying examination.
for diploma holders six semester marks sheet.
five passport size photograph.
all original documents along with two-two copies xerox attested of the testimonials are required. original certificates are required for verification only.
application forms should be accompanied by the processing fee of rs.100/-
duly filled application form along with above mentioned formalities may be sent by registered post addressed to "the director iist palam, new delhi" or can be submitted personally during office hour.
after scrutiny of application form, candidate will be intimated regarding his admission.
admission to various standards is open for male/female candidate from all states and union territories of the country.

the admission is open twice in a year. the table is given below:
