aks bearings limited was incorporated in the year 1990. the first bearing was rolled out in september 1993. we are a leading manufacturer of ball & roller bearings, situated in vishwakarma industrial area, jaipur in the state of rajasthan. vishwakarma industrial area is one of the biggest industrial area for small scale industrial units in india. the company is spread over on area of 4727 sq. mtr. and manufactures a wide range of bearings under the brand name of aks® viz. single row deep groove ball bearing, taper roller bearings, needle roller bearing, thrust bearings and bushes of various sizes which are being widely used in automobiles, electric motors, trucks, tractors, material handling equipments, agricultural and general purpose machines.
aks manufacture bearings with the latest technology and most modern manufacturing processes on highly sophisticated automatic grinding machines. these machines have been procured from companies from countries like usa, uk, germany & japan, who are world leaders in bearings manufacturing machines.
the raw material used for manufacturing bearings is an alloy steel of chromium having composition as specified by sae 52100 along with steel balls of high carbon and high chrome steel of sae 52100, grade 10 as per afbma and edd grade steel retainer.
aks is producing bearings ranging from 10mm bore to 100mm bore confirming to iso 492 standards. aks constantly monitors quality and process efficiency at each stage to ensure a perfect product to meet the rapid increase in demand for quality diversity of specifications and new type of bearings.
to check the quality and performance of bearings, a variety of test instruments are used to monitor parameters such as fatigue life, surface roughness, roundness and radial internal clearances etc. which ultimately result in the quality improvement.
