description
this machine is specially designed for heavy work. the parts such as platen and main gear are made from cast iron for superior performance and they do not deform even in case of great strain. the platen is driven from the ball bearing mounted shaft through a pair of reduction spiral gears protected by guards. the main gear shaft and connecting arms are mounted on phosphor bronze bushes. the reduction gear shaft is made of hardened high quality alloy-steel. lubrication of counter pressure elements prevents the gears from deviating under work pressure.
electromagnetic clutch & break system
push button control of die cutting machine is made possible by electromagnetic clutch and brake. safety is assured by full electrical interlocking. the electrical synchronization of clutch and brake helps in eliminating the time lag or over lag between driving and braking. there is clean panel for controlling the machine operation. there is no pedal control.
dwell timing device
dwell timing device in die cutting machine can be set to give a variable period from 0.5 to 10 seconds and in this time the platen does not moves and remains in open position before automatically resuming motion at the end of set dwell time. this is a feature which is very useful when feeding work needs a fine register or hen large or difficult sheets are fed which would otherwise have to be run using single impression procedure. this device can increase output to more than double that of a machine on single impression working and can also be of great assistance during the training of an operator. this model differs from pedal controlled machines being driven by electro magnetic clutch & brake unit and training control dwell.
