Anaya tiles is a “boutique” tiles manufacturer focused on delivering outstanding products that are distinctive and aesthetically pleasing. anaya is brought to you by 3rd generation in ceramics. the parent group “sonya ceramics” was established in 1960 by chandrakant c. shah. it was the first company to get isi mark for its stoneware pipes and fittings. in those days these pipes were exported to u.a.e and elsewhere. thereafter in 1975 his son rupesh c. shah joined the company and started manufacturing l.t. insulators at kadi plant and technical ceramics at sonya insulators in ahmedabad. today “sonya” has received national awards from ex-president abdul kalam and prime minister dr. manmohan singh for manufacturing consistent quality of technical ceramics and l.t. insulators and exporting it world wide. in 2007, manufacturing of handmade tiles, was started as a hobby by rutuja patel, daughter of rupesh c. shah. by passage of time new technology was introduced and in 2011 a dedicated plant to manufacture handmade wall, paving and cladding tiles by the name of “anaya tiles” was started. today at “anaya” we make taylor type roofing tiles in natural earthen colors and also wall, floor, cladding and paving tiles. we are not limited to earthen colors, we also make customized colors and designs as per our clients need.
